Children's Christmas Program
Children grades 1st to 12th are invited to participate in the
Children's Christmas Program.
The presentation will be on Christmas Eve at 3:15pm.

Children's Choir is open to all children of the parish, it is most attended by those in elementary school. The ability to read music is not required, but some (text) reading skill is best for the success of the singers. Basic music theory and reading skills are taught, along with choral skills and music as it relates to Mass.
Rehearsals and most literature are in English -- the language of music is universal.
Rehearsals are Wednesdays, beginning September 4th, in Saint Rose Hall from 4:30pm to 5:30pm promptly. An RSVP is appreciated. Pick up and drop off is at the Holy Family Room in the old building. Junior and senior high school students rehearse separately.
El Coro de Niños está abierto a todos los niños de la parroquia, por lo regular los niños que participan en el coro de niños son estudiantes en la escuela primaria. La capacidad de leer música no es obligatorio, pero un poco de conocimiento sobre la lectura (texto) es mejor para el éxito de los cantantes. La Teoría básica de música y la habilidad de leer la se les enseña junto con las habilidades corales y musicales conforme sea relacionado con la Misa.
Los ensayos y la mayoría de las literaturas son en inglés -- el lenguaje de música es universal.
Los ensayos serán cada miércoles de 4:15pm a 5:30pm de la tarde. Acompañe nos los miércoles en la Iglesia. Por favor de avisarnos si desea participar. Music Camp
Sometimes church activities come in a treble clef and sing like a bird. Each summer our Music Camp works with school age children. Elementary kids are grouped by age with teens assisting. During four mornings in August we sing, dance and learn, culminating with Mass at the end of the week.
Unfortunately, this year's Music Camp, which was scheduled as a one-day event on August 15th, is cancelled as it coincides with the first day of school in McKinney. Contact Valerie Stagaman at 972-542-4667 ext. 114 or at v_stagaman@stmichaelmckinney.org for more details.
