The Diocese of Dallas’ Mission Statement for the Safe Environment Program states:

As Christian adults, we have a moral and legal responsibility and are entrusted by God with the spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being of minors and vulnerable adults.  As they participate in activities within or sponsored by our Diocese, it is our responsibility and commitment to provide an environment, which is safe and nurturing.

To accomplish this goal, the Diocese requires all parish volunteers to be cleared with the Diocese Safe Environment Program.  If you are not cleared, you are not authorized to volunteer with any parish ministry/activity.

To assist with this goal, St. Michaels will be hosting a Training Session on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 4:00 SPANISH and 6:30PM ENGLISH.  We will have the English session in St. Michael Hall and the Spanish session in St. Rose Hall.  This session will last about 1-1/2 hours.  Please plan on attending if you are interested in volunteering and are currently not cleared with Safe Environment.  If you are not sure if you are cleared, please call Brenda at the church office, at 972-542-4667, extension 113.  Also, all volunteers need to be registered parishioners.  If you are not a registered parishioner, please arrive prior to the training class to complete the registration.  Thank you!

Para lograr este objetivo, la Diócesis requiere que todos los voluntarios de la parroquia estén autorizados con el Programa de Ambiente Seguro de la Diócesis. Si no está autorizado, no está autorizado a ser voluntario en ningún ministerio/actividad parroquial.

Para ayudar con este objetivo, St. Michaels organizará una sesión de capacitación el sábado 4 de febrero de 2023 a las 4:00 pm ESPAÑOL Y 6:30 pm INGLÉS. Tendremos la sesión en inglés en St. Michael Hall y la sesión en español en St. Rose Hall. Esta sesión durará aproximadamente 1-1/2 horas. Planee asistir si está interesado en ser voluntario y actualmente no está autorizado con Safe Environment.
